Happy Birthday Poppa!

Today is our most faithful blog follower's birthday.  Who, you might ask!?!  My Poppa, Dad, Father, Grandpa, Traveling Companion and Best Friend!  (And yes, I still call him Poppa!)

Happy Birthday Poppa!  I wish we could spend the day with you eating yummy cake and rockin' out!

I wanted to make a 'Top Ten' list of our most memorable moments; I've had trouble narrowing the list, but here goes it:

Top Ten Most Memorable Moments With Poppa

10.  Suzy Q's - When I was a little girl, Dad would buy a package of Suzy Q's and save the second one for me when he got home from work.

9.  Sourdough Pancakes - We love eating sourdough pancakes at a little truck stop north of Fairbanks, Alaska.

8.  Young's Dairy - We spent many summer nights licking yummy ice cream from a cone at Young's Dairy.

7.  Dancing - Dad taught me how to dance by standing on the tops of his shoes.

6.  Archery - My Dad taught me how to shoot a bow and arrow when I was a little girl.

5.  Tech School - Dad drove to San Antonio, Texas to visit me, while I was in Tech School for the Air Force.  His trip to Texas is one of my 'Air Force Highlights'!!!

4.  Flea Markets - I loved going to the flea market with him every Sunday morning.

3.  Flying With Paper Wings - Dad also taught me how to 'fly' by attaching paper wings to my arms and letting me jump off the couch!

2.  The Alaska Highway - There is no word to describe how awesome this trip was.  I highly recommend every daughter drive the Alaska Highway with their father.

1.  Most Importantly of All - You're a Great Dad...And an Awesome Grandpa!
We Love You So Much!
Happy Birthday!!!
