Keepin' Up With the Jones
Our blog name is just a play off the old catchphrase 'Keeping Up with the Jones' or Joneses' in many parts of the English-speaking world referring to the comparison to one's neighbor as a benchmark for social caste or the accumulation of material goods. To fail to "keep up with the Joneses" is perceived as demonstrating socio-economic or cultural inferiority.
Note to self - Or anyone reading this: Don't worry! We don't have fancy cars or houses to keep up with. But, we sure do have a happy crew, so I had to add a few family photos from over the years for fun!
