Thankful For: The Joys of Motherhood

What did I do before these two?  And, what would I do without them?

Before I became a Mom, I thought I was quite a hard worker - After I became a Mom, I really learned how to work hard!  I've never been busier...And, I've never, not one day in my life, been happier!

Tanzee is my little 'mini-best friend' and I share all my 'big' news with her first!  We share everything, except her clothes are a little smaller than mine, she loves to steal my jackets and we sure would like to know where one of us left at least one of the hair combs!

While I was out of state visiting family, Tanz bought me a flower hair clip and attached it to a note - The note went like this:

To:  Lisa

I love you alot

and I got this

for you and you are

mine, love Tanzee

YOU

Well, Baby Girl, Just wanted to let you know...I Love You Alot Too!

And about this little man - He's becoming a teenager sooner than I'm ready for!  I remember the days when he begged his Dad to take 'Lisa' out on a date, the times he secretly called me from his Dad's phone and tricked me into coming over, and the excitement he had over helping his Dad give me an engangement ring!

Now, I've become the old lady who is in 'old person love' with his Dad.  I tear up everytime he does well at a rodeo, I think his room smells like a boy and I wonder how do those tootsie roll wrappers end up under his bed, smack dab in the middle?  Wouldn't it be easier to put them in the trash can!?!

And...I love those big bear hugs and snuggles he still gives me every day!

Some people mistakingly believe a person has to give birth to a child to love them like her own.  Not true, the only thing I'm missing are the stretch marks!  Some days they call me Mom, some Madre, some Lisa and Tel is most famous for calling me 'Lis'.  No matter what they call me or who they look like, I don't just love them like my own, they are my own. 

And, in case you were wondering, I sure do love hangin' with them!
