Dear Rain,
We live in the desert and are not used to such moisture frizzing our hair. Hairspray must be out of stock after your recent visit. However, we appreciate you stopping by for seven days straight and can't wait for our upcoming farming season.
Much appreciated,
Desert Rats
As you can see, by the following pictures, we've had quite an unusual Christmas in southern Utah. The rains came and the rains came and the rains came and the cows sunk to their butts in muck.
The below picture is usually a dry road.
The cows were glad to get out of the muck and head farther south, we snapped a picture of this waterfall on the way down.
Look who we found along the way...Friends taking pictures too!
The kids usually walk across this dam.
Keep in mind...Water does not usually 'flow' in the desert!
The reservoir.
Below is the overflow from a pond that's usually pretty dry.
Glad our community made it through with little damage!
Wow--that was quite a rain! Good things will be coming in spring after that! Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas...stop by and say hi.
